My name is Jessica Vermeulen, 19 years old, born in Perth and raised in Albany. God has placed me in a lovely family with 3 sisters and 3 brothers! So i've got lots of little people to practise portrait photogrpahy on:) I bought a DSLR in 2009 when i started a TAFE Cert 2 course in photography through school, and have loved it ever since! My prayer is that by this blog I can show Gods awesome creation to the world!

Think I would have to agree with you Jess. I love the colours and everything, especially the lighting of the sun at the end of the jetty, but I think the wave takes the viewers attention away from the rest of the photo. The wave makes you look there, more than you should. Well that's what I find anyway. But appart from that I love the photo. Good job :)
Thanks:) I got a couple other shots with different waves but none turned out with such good colour!
Oh ok. Because the colours are definitely really beautiful. But then again, the photo grows on you, like if you look at it for a while the wave doesn't seem as bad, if you get what I mean :)What happens if you crop the photo just a little bit so the wave doesn't look so big (so there's less of it). Does that work at all.
